In 2009, the Wine Trail Rides were selected as the Best Culinary Tourism Experience in Ontario by the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance. The award recognizes an Ontario organization or business that delivers an authentic consumer experience showcasing Ontario food and beverage.
In 2010, WindsorEats was awarded the Innovator of the Year award for the Wine Trail Rides. The National Awards for Tourism Excellence have been presented since 2003 by the TIAC to recognize the best of Canada’s tourism industry, and to reward those people, places, organizations and events that have gone above and beyond to offer a superior tourism experience to travellers in Canada.
In 2013, WindsorEats were selected as the winner of the Ontario Culinary Tourism Leadership Award by the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance in part because of our Wine Trail Ride cycling tours.
This Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance award recognizes an Ontario organization, collaborative group or community who has or is working on developing a destination through investment in culinary tourism.
